On the morning of September 7, in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year.
In his speech at the opening ceremony of the new school year, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - emphasized that the 2024-2025 school year is the year of acceleration of the entire Party, people and army in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Deeply aware of its responsibilities, the Academy will focus on fulfilling the tasks of the new school year with the motto "Solidarity - Discipline - Setting an example - Breakthrough - Development", promoting the 75-year tradition of building and developing the Academy.
Attending and giving a speech, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong emphasized the increasingly high requirements for training and fostering cadres, contributing to continuing to comprehensively and synchronously promote the cause of innovation, building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation, directly requiring training, fostering and preparing personnel for Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
The Standing Secretariat requested that the Academy proactively focus on synchronously implementing all aspects of work in accordance with the spirit of the 13th National Congress Resolution and the resolutions of the 13th Central Conference.
“The training, scientific research, policy consulting and international cooperation activities of the Academy need to continue to fully promote its position, role and importance as the highest and most elite school of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The Academy needs to continue to focus on building and innovating program content, improving the capacity and qualifications of its staff and lecturers...”, the Standing Secretariat requested.
The Standing Secretariat also requested the Academy to continue promoting its role as the National Center for Research in Political Theory, providing scientific arguments for rapid and sustainable national development...
Along with that, resolutely implement and ensure the quality of the National Key Scientific Research Program: "Research, apply and creatively develop Ho Chi Minh's thought in the cause of national construction, development and defense of the Fatherland in the period of Renovation (period from 1986 to present, orientation to 2030, vision to 2045)".
The Standing Secretariat noted that students must be shining examples in studying and doing scientific research, with awareness, responsibility, and the right motivation for studying. Study to work, to be a human being, to be a cadre; study to serve the organization, the class and the people, the Fatherland and humanity as Uncle Ho instructed; absolutely oppose the ideology of studying for degrees, studying to meet the criteria to be promoted.
Along with that, the Standing Secretariat also noted that the Academy continues to take the lead in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous, distorted, and hostile viewpoints with appropriate and creative content and methods; at the same time, continue to promote Party building and building Party school culture...
