Based on the content, nature, extent, harm, and cause of the violation, and comparing with Regulation 69-QD/TW of the Politburo on disciplinary action against party organizations and party members who violate the law, the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee consider and propose disciplinary action against Mr. Vo Van Chanh.
Previously, in November 2024, the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Nai Province Police issued a decision to prosecute Mr. Vo Van Chanh - former Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee to investigate violations of regulations on land management, related to the Phuoc Thai Commercial Residential Area project (Tam Phuoc Ward, Bien Hoa City).
In August 2023, the People's Court of Dong Nai province also tried 13 defendants, including 11 defendants who are former officials in Dong Nai for their involvement in violations occurring at the Phuoc Thai Commercial Residential Area project (Tam Phuoc Ward, Bien Hoa City), causing damage to the state of nearly 79 billion VND.
