Central Inspection Committee proposes to consider disciplinary action against Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan.

On September 7, 2026, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Committee held its 12th Meeting under the chairmanship of Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh.

At the Meeting, the Central Inspection Committee considered the Report proposing disciplinary action against violating party members at Party committees: Ministry of Health and Hanoi Construction Corporation - JSC.

The Central Inspection Committee found:

(1) Tran Van Thuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Health; (2) Dau Van Dien, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Construction Corporation - JSC; (3) Nguyen Duc Toan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Construction Corporation - JSC have declined in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and laws of the State in performing assigned duties and responsibilities, in preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility of setting an example, causing very serious consequences, very badly affecting the prestige of the Party organization and agencies and working units, to the extent that disciplinary action must be taken.

Considering the content, nature, severity, consequences, and causes of violations; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decides:

- Disciplining Expulsion from the Party of individuals: Dau Van Dien, Nguyen Duc Toan.

- Request competent authorities to consider and discipline Mr. Tran Van Thuan.

Also at this session, the Central Inspection Committee considered and resolved complaints about Party discipline in 1 case and concluded on some other important contents.
