The General Secretary and President emphasized that the Party, State and people of Vietnam wish to continue receiving support and close cooperation from friends, partners and peace-loving people around the world with the role of bridging and promoting diplomats, Heads of international organizations in Vietnam, and foreign investors in the process of building and developing the country.
On behalf of the ambassadors, chargé d'affaires, and heads of international organizations in Hanoi, Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam Saadi Salama - Head of the Diplomatic Corps - sent the best wishes to the leaders of the Party, State, and people of Vietnam on the occasion of this important event of the Vietnamese nation.
The Ambassador was moved to express that this year, the National Day celebration was even more solemn as the great loss of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's passing has not yet passed; emphasizing that the image of an honest, modest, simple, approachable, intelligent and decisive leader will last forever.
Expressing his impression of the positive results that Vietnam has achieved in recent times, Ambassador Salama stated that in the context of the complex international situation, war, conflict and strategic competition causing unpredictable instability, "bamboo" diplomacy, a symbol of flexibility, resilience, agility but consistency, has been comprehensively and effectively implemented by Vietnam.
The Ambassador affirmed that with a consistent stance in resolving international issues in the spirit of the rule of law, humanity, equality and mutual respect, Vietnam has an increasingly important voice in regional and global forums.
