On March 17, Vogue Korea fashion magazine announced the cover face for the April 2025 issue, female singer and actress Jisoo (member of Blackpink).
Notably, on the 7 cover versions revealed by Vogue, Jisoo wore costumes designed by 7 generations of Dior luxury brand creative directors in history.
These are the costumes of 7 designers Christian Dior (Creative Director period 1946 - 1957), Yves Saint Laurent ( period 1958 - 1960), Marc Bohan ( period 1960-1989), Gianfranco Ferre ( period 1989 - 1997), John Galliano ( period 1997 - 2011), Raf Simons ( period 2012 - 2015) and Maria Grazia Chiuri ( period 2016 - present).
The most outstanding and impressive look on the covers is the image of Jisoo wearing an iconic ivory white Bar Jacket of Dior, part of the New Look collection, launched in 1947, designed by the first Creative Director of Christian Dior.
The dress has a soft shoulder blades, waistline, slightly swollen hips, shaping an elegant, feminine and seductive style of women.
This is a huge and rare treatment that Dior gives to its dual global ambassador (fashion and beauty) - Jisoo.
After more than 5 years of becoming a Dior ambassador, Jisoo is now the top representative of the brand.
She continuously sat in the front row at major shows, was called "Dior princess" by international media, appeared in global promotional campaigns and appeared on the covers of many magazines.
Previously, in March 2023, Jisoo was the first Kpop star to appear on the cover of French Vogue - one of the 4 most prestigious Vogue magazines in the world.
During Blackpink's "Born Pink" global tour, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri personally designed Jisoo's performance outfit, at the final show in Seoul, Korea (September 2023).
At the recent Paris Fashion Week, Jisoo was a rare Dior ambassador to wear designs from the latest Fall-Winter 2025 collection, even before the collection was displayed on the runway.
