The event is of practical significance in implementing major guidelines and policies of the Party and State on social housing development, ensuring social security and stabilizing people's lives. The special point of the Project is Agribank's initiative to prioritize allocating a part of the apartment fund to support officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 - the force directly performing the task of managing and protecting the sacred sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland.
Attending the ceremony, on the side of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction were comrade Tran Hong Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction; representatives of leaders of Departments, Agencies, and affiliated units. On the local side were comrade Tran Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of Departments and Agencies of Khanh Hoa province. On the side of the leaders of the Naval Region 4 Command, there was Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh - Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 4; representatives of leaders of units. On the side of the Project investor, there was Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alphanam Group and leaders of member units. On Agribank's side, there was comrade Phung Thi Binh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director; representatives of leaders of units at Headquarters; leaders of Agribank Transaction Branch, Agribank Khanh Hoa Branch.
Nha Trang Square Social Housing Project is implemented on a land area of more than 10,370 m2 in An Binh Tan Urban Area, Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province. The project has a convenient location at the southern gateway of the city, located on the traffic axis connecting Cam Ranh International Airport with Nha Trang center, contributing to the formation of a synchronous and modern residential area, associated with the sustainable urban development orientation of the locality. With a scale of nearly 800 apartments, the project is expected to meet the housing needs of about 2,000 people, mainly low-income workers, workers and social policy beneficiaries according to the provisions of law. In which, the Project will prioritize allocating a part of the apartment fund to support officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4, contributing to solving the housing needs and stabilizing the lives of forces performing special tasks, showing the concern of the Party, State, local government and banking system for military rear work.
The apartments at the project are scientifically designed, optimizing usability, ensuring comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly living space. Design standards, construction quality and technical infrastructure system are synchronously invested, close to commercial housing projects, thereby contributing to improving the quality of social housing, gradually changing people's awareness of living conditions in this segment. The project has a total investment of more than 1,115 billion VND, of which Agribank sponsors credit capital of 670 billion VND, which will be disbursed promptly and in accordance with the project implementation progress, showing Agribank's close companionship with the investor in the process of realizing the goal of developing social housing.
At the ceremony, Agribank signed important contracts and agreements, including: Credit contract between Agribank Transaction Office Branch, Agribank Khanh Hoa Branch and the Investor on capital financing for the Nha Trang Square Social Housing Project; Agreement on sponsorship for social housing buyers between Agribank Khanh Hoa Branch and the project investor. In particular, the ceremony also witnessed the signing ceremony of the Tripartite Cooperation Agreement between the Command of Naval Region 4, Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company and Agribank Khanh Hoa Branch to support officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 to access and buy houses at the project, contributing to stabilizing life, working peacefully, and performing well the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
In the context of increasing demand for social housing, especially in urban areas and tourism and service development areas such as Khanh Hoa, the Government and the Prime Minister have repeatedly affirmed that social housing development is a key task, both economically significant and politically and socially significant. Resolution No. 33/NQ-CP of the Government and preferential credit programs of the Banking sector have created an important legal corridor and financial resources for social housing projects to be implemented effectively and sustainably.
With the role of a leading State-owned commercial bank, Agribank is always a pioneer in fulfilling social responsibility, proactively implementing preferential credit programs, supporting the development of social housing and creating favorable conditions for people to borrow capital to buy houses with reasonable interest rates, long loan terms, and transparent procedures. Up to now, Agribank has signed commitments to provide credit for 23 social housing projects implemented according to Resolution No. 33/NQ-CP and is in the process of approaching and considering credit granting for 6 other projects. In addition, Agribank focuses on financing capital for homebuyers in social housing projects, contributing to bringing preferential credit policies to the right beneficiaries, supporting people to realize their housing needs.
The signing and implementation of credit capital financing for the Nha Trang Square Social Housing Project not only affirms Agribank's role, prestige and capacity in accompanying socio-economic development programs of the country, but also contributes to building a stable and sustainable residential community, ensuring social security and maintaining political stability in the locality.
