On September 6 and 7, 2024, Typhoon Yagi caused serious damage with strong gusts of wind and a long duration of the storm, causing major damage to property and infrastructure, uprooting many trees, collapsing electric poles and billboards. In particular, 25 boats sank in Quang Ninh.
