Nam A Bank is one of the pioneer banks implementing international risk management standards such as: Basel III, Basel Reform, Advanced Basel II... Most recently, this Bank has also completed financial statements according to international standards (IFRS).
The completion of the IFRS project will help Nam A Bank in general and banks in particular improve financial management and internal control processes, improve the ability to compare financial statements with other businesses globally, and enhance transparency and accountability in financial statements.
At the same time, this project also contributes to improving the quality of bank data, laying the foundation for implementing other important projects such as data management, data analysis or digitalization of banking activities...
Pioneering the application of international practices such as Basel III, Basel Reform, Advanced Basel II, IFRS... will help Nam A Bank improve risk management and financial management in banking operations. At the same time, the transparency and soundness of financial reporting information when applying international standards will contribute to enhancing the reputation and position of Nam A Bank in the domestic and international markets.
As of August 2024, Nam A Bank's accumulated pre-tax profit reached more than 75% of the annual plan. The ROE ratio reached 21.46%, ROA was 1.65%, showing that the Bank not only grew in scale but also achieved high profitability. NAB's NIM ratio continued to improve to 3.8% (compared to 3.6% at the end of the second quarter), and NIM is expected to remain around 3.5 - 3.8% until the end of 2024.
