Persistently pursuing initiatives that contribute to health nutrition in Vietnam
According to Mr. Nara, over the past 33 years, Ajinomoto Vietnam has continuously strived to operate and contribute in accordance with its "Purpose of Existence", which is "to contribute to bringing health and happiness to the people and society of Vietnam through providing quality products and valuable initiatives".
“Since its inception, Ajinomoto Vietnam has been continuously implementing the two projects “School Meals” (since 2012) and the “Maternal and Child Nutrition” program (since 2020) in coordination with relevant government agencies, for two reasons: First, we believe that to achieve improved nutritional status, we need to make long-term and continuous efforts. Second, the positive impacts that these two projects have brought to the beneficiaries, along with the positive feedback from them and society, are a huge motivation for us to continue implementing these initiatives,” said Mr. Nara.

Since late 2023, Ajinomoto Vietnam has started phase 2 of the “School Meals” project and expanded to primary schools without boarding kitchens through industrial catering services. This benefits more students, contributing to nurturing the development of future generations of Vietnam.
Taking human resources as the core foundation for company development
At Ajinomoto Vietnam, the fundamental foundation to realize the company's "Purpose of Existence" is to build a strong organization capable of implementing ASV (Ajinomoto Group's shared value creation activities) in the direction of Acceleration and Scaling (SxS) by penetrating the Philosophy Model and promoting human resources with strong passion and always pursuing optimal operation (OE).
Every department in the company applies ASV to their work to enhance their social and economic contributions. Employees perform their daily work, even the smallest tasks, with enthusiasm and passion, and this is what helps the company move closer to its 2030 Roadmap.
