At about 11:40 PM on March 29, a large fire occurred at a wood workshop opposite K Hospital (Tan Trieu facility), Thanh Liet ward.
According to people living near the area, they saw a wood workshop burning fiercely, people shouted to move furniture and reported to the police force to fight the fire.
The flames rose tens of meters high, black smoke billowed all over the area.
Upon receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting and rescue force of Hanoi City Police mobilized dozens of fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene to handle the fire. Until about 2 am on March 30, the fire was still raging fiercely, columns of smoke rose high, causing functional forces to strain themselves to control it.
By the morning of March 30, rescue and relief work was still being deployed.
