On July 18, 2026, at Vlasta - Thuy Nguyen Urban Area (Hai Phong), the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a high-rise social housing apartment complex took place. The project is planned on an area of more than 26,000 m2, including 4 apartment buildings, providing nearly 1,000 apartments, meeting the housing needs of people.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of Van Phu Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company said that the project is implemented to respond to the policy of the Party, State and Hai Phong city on social housing development, and at the same time supplement the housing supply for people in the area. The investor also committed to focusing full resources to implement the project in accordance with the plan and schedule set out, ensuring construction quality, and fully implementing the provisions of law on social housing development. During the construction process, the enterprise will closely coordinate with functional agencies to ensure labor safety, project quality and environmental protection requirements.
According to the housing development plan for the period 2026 - 2030, Hai Phong is expected to deploy about 37,698 social housing apartments. In recent years, Hai Phong city has been one of the localities actively implementing social housing development programs to meet the housing needs of people and workers, while aiming to form housing areas that are synchronously planned in terms of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure and urban amenities.
