In which, the project to build a sea-crossing road connecting the Can Gio - Vung Tau area is a breakthrough traffic infrastructure project. For the first time, Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau are connected on a direct traffic axis, shortening the travel time from Can Gio - Vung Tau to only about 10 minutes, opening up a space for sea-facing development and promoting marine economy, tourism, and logistics for the whole region.

The project has a total length of about 14.06km, starting point at Can Thanh - Long Hoa boulevard, belonging to Vinhomes Green Paradise megacity, Can Gio commune; ending point at the intersection with 30 Thang 4 street, Vung Tau ward, Rach Dua ward, Tam Thang ward.
The entire route is planned with 6 lanes, a design speed of 80km/h, and a total estimated investment of more than 93,000 billion VND. In particular, the project has more than 8 km of sea-crossing bridges and 3.85 km of sea-crossing tunnels, forming the first and largest sea-crossing road and tunnel system in Vietnam. Besides the sea-crossing record, the project is also impressively designed with the tunnel entrance area at both ends of the bridge simulating two giant lotus flowers, proudly rising from the ocean. This is a place to arrange ecological rest stops with a system of charging stations, parking lots, culinary areas, service houses, and modern walking path landscapes.

It is expected that after 3 years from the date of land handover and meeting the conditions for commencement, the project will go into operation and become a "symbol on the sea" project of Ho Chi Minh City in the new phase, and also a unique tourist destination attracting Vietnamese and world tourists.
The starting point of the Can Gio - Vung Tau sea-crossing route is the Vinhomes Green Paradise sea megacity, combined with existing advantages, creating a growth focus for the southern sea economic development axis in the future.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Tran Van Anh - Deputy General Director of Vingroup Group said: "The sea-crossing road project connecting the Can Gio - Vung Tau area is a special-class traffic project, requiring complex technical requirements, and strategically significant for the long-term development of Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast region. We believe that when completed, the project will become a symbol of sea infrastructure of Ho Chi Minh City, resonating with Vinhomes Green Paradise to form a modern coastal urban center, contributing to creating a new growth pole for the City and the South.

After completion, the projects will contribute to completing the connection network on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway corridor, enhancing inter-regional traffic capacity, shortening travel time to Can Gio and southern areas of the city.
As one of the key construction units in the Vingroup ecosystem, SGC possesses the capacity to implement large-scale infrastructure projects, with a team of experienced engineers and experts, a modern specialized machinery system and strong construction resources. SGC will closely coordinate with partners in the consortium, focusing maximum manpower, equipment and technology to organize scientific construction, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and progress, contributing to bringing projects into operation soon, creating motivation for socio-economic development in the region.
