Fines up to 10 million VND if not implementing the All People's Day for Saving and Combating Wastefulness

Article 11, Decree 265/2026/ND-CP Regulating penalties for administrative violations in the field of thrift and anti-wastefulness (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates violations of regulations on organizing the implementation of the All People's Day for thrift and anti-wastefulness as follows:

1. Warning for the act of implementing the All People's Day for Saving and Combating Waste in the wrong form according to regulations.

2. A fine of between 1 million VND and 3 million VND shall be imposed for the act of implementing the All People's Day for Saving and Combating Wastefulness not in accordance with the principles and contents as prescribed.

3. A fine of between 5 million VND and 10 million VND shall be imposed for the following acts:

a) Not issuing guidelines for organizing the All People's Day for Saving and Combating Wastefulness as prescribed;

b) Not implementing the All People's Day for Saving and Combating Wastefulness as prescribed.

Thus, from July 1, 2026, the failure to implement the All People's Day for Saving and Combating Wastefulness may be fined up to 10 million VND.
