I still hope to pass the first wish, but I am currently quite nervous because I don't know what the benchmark score this year will be like. I also followed some benchmark score predictions but only for reference, because I have to wait for the official results" - Thuy Linh shared.
According to the female student, at this time she cannot change her aspirations, so the only way is to wait. Thuy Linh hopes that the benchmark score will not fluctuate too much to have the opportunity to study her favorite major.
Parents anxiously wait with their children
Not only candidates are anxiously waiting for the benchmark scores, many parents are also restless. After the exam scores and aspirations have been finalized, families can only wait and calculate plans for the upcoming journey.
These days, Ms. Do Thi Vinh (Hanoi) regularly updates enrollment information and monitors benchmark score predictions. According to Ms. Vinh, the thing that worries her family the most is that the benchmark scores for some majors may increase compared to last year.
Although her child has completed the exam and the family has also considered their wishes together, Ms. Vinh believes that it is still difficult to accurately predict the results at this time.
My child's exam score is known, but the benchmark score is not yet. The family also follows the prediction information for reference, but each place offers a different level, so the closer to the announcement date, the more nervous parents become, constantly restless" - Ms. Vinh shared.
According to Ms. Vinh, the family has prepared psychologically for many possibilities. However, if the benchmark score increases, it will be more difficult to be admitted to the major your child desires.
I just hope my child can get into a major that suits his abilities and interests. If the results are not as desired, the family will consider other options with my child" - Ms. Vinh said.
Also waiting for the admission results of his child, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Lam (Hanoi) said that he is also worried as the admission score announcement day is approaching. Mr. Lam shared that his child is taking block A and registered for admission to the Information Technology major at some universities in Hanoi.
Although the family has considered his wishes with his child and prepared some contingency plans, Mr. Lam still hopes his child can be admitted to a suitable school.
At this time, parents are also nervous and anxiously waiting for the benchmark scores with their children. There are no official results yet, so the family still regularly monitors information, especially predictions about the benchmark scores. I just hope the benchmark scores do not increase too high so that my children can get into one of the registered schools" - Mr. Lam shared.
According to Mr. Lam, because Information Technology is a highly competitive industry, the family is even more concerned about the fluctuations in this year's benchmark scores. However, at this time, all options have been calculated, the family can only wait for the official results and encourage their child to keep a comfortable mental state.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, from August 4 to 9, training institutions will organize admission consideration and process admission aspirations on the common admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The virtual filtering process includes 6 times. The first time started from 7 am on August 4, the last virtual filtering time was in the afternoon of August 9.
After 6 rounds of virtual filtering, from 5 pm on August 9, schools will enter the admission score and admission results into the system. No later than 5 pm on August 13, 2026, schools must complete the announcement of benchmark scores.
