MSc. Trinh Huu Chung - Vice Principal of Gia Dinh University - said that this year, the school will enroll students in Dentistry with about 50 targets.
The expected tuition fee for this major is about 150 million VND/year.
Mr. Chung said that the methods used for admission to the Dentistry include: Considering academic records; considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025 according to subject combinations; considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025.
Regarding the admission combination using the results of high school transcripts and high school graduation exams, the school uses the combinations A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, Biology), B01 (Math, Biology, History), B03 (Math, Physics, Literature), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), D08 (Math, Information, English).
The entrance exam for Dentistry is for candidates with grade 12 academic performance of excellent grade or higher or high school graduation score >= 8.0.
Regarding admission conditions, with the method of considering transcripts, the school uses 2 options: Considering the entire 12th grade year or considering the results of grades 11 and 12 according to a combination of 3 subjects.
In which, considering the entire 12th grade year: (Average score for the whole year of grade 12 subject 1 + Average score for the whole year of grade 12 subject 2 + Average score for the whole year of grade 12 subject 3) >=22.5 points.
Considered in grades 11 and 12: [(Average score for the whole year of grade 11 subject 1 + Average score for the whole year of grade 11 subject 3 + Average score for the whole year of grade 11 subject 3 + Average score for the whole year of grade 12 subject 1 + Average score for the whole year of grade 12 subject 2 + Average score for the whole year of grade 12 subject 3)]/2 > 22.5 points.
With the method of considering graduation exam scores, the floor score will be announced by the Ministry of Education and Training after the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
