The "invisible murderers"
"I felt helpless and stuck all the time. Many times I think to myself, what wrong have I done that has caused me to suffer so much injustice as today? Can I try harder?" - Le Thi My Tien (born in 2003, Hanoi) talks about her high school years in the blink of water.
My Tien is a teacher and has good academic performance. The person bullying me is the student with the lowest score and always attracts other friends to boycott me. The story reached its peak when the bully did not have as good results as Tien in the excellent student exam.
"Sitting in class, you threw your measuring devices and school supplies at your younger brother, and scolded him because it was unnecessary, because he was a teacher's child, so you achieved that result. You also declare that anyone who plays with you will be immediately boycotted.
Feeling abandoned in class - a part of youth is very bad and like hell. I wish I had memorable moments instead of such mockery or bad words" - Tien shed tears.
A victim of school violence, Vu Hong Ngoc (born in 1996, Thanh Hoa) was insulted and cursed by a group of classmates for traveling from a remote province to the South. The feeling of distance and discrimination in regions has haunted Ngoc throughout her high school years.
Thinking back, Ngoc was still haunted: "What you wear, what you eat, or what you do, they will judge you. They always use their rich standards to criticize and defame me. The pressure of studying due to transferring schools and regional discrimination has made me think twice."
When injury becomes strength
At the time of bullying, when she did not know who to confide in, My Tien chose to go to places with no one, screaming loudly to relieve her hatred in her heart.
"After a period of living under jealousy and violence from bullies, I thought the only way to overcome it was to try myself.
I study hard and am recognized by teachers and friends. Gradually, people no longer fear bullying but turn to support and help him. That was the moment I felt happiest, it could be the moment I would never forget. I suddenly " grate" those who bullied me for turning my wounds into strength."
Understanding the psychology of students at an early age, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - a high school teacher in Thanh Hoa - said that at this age, students often have spontaneous actions and lack of thinking, unintentionally affecting the psychology and health of others.
"In my opinion, the way of education for families and schools is very important. The education sector needs to strengthen student education and reduce school violence by taking strong measures.
Schools need to pay attention to the spirit and psychology of students, promote psychological counseling, and create trust for them. From there, they have a place to trust, teachers also understand the students' thoughts, solve problems together, and minimize unwanted incidents" - Ms. Lan said.
