At the program, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented the Decision to recognize the National Treasure "Ministry of Nghe Temple Metals" to Hai Phong City. The "Ministry of Nghe Temple Metallurgy" includes 22 unique gold artifacts, donated to Nghe Temple, in gratitude to General Le Chan in the early 20th century who was recognized as a National Treasure, which is a worthy recognition, and at the same time a great responsibility of the people of Hai Phong in preserving and promoting the value of this heritage for generations.
The Women's Traditional Festival of Le Chan is held annually to arouse national pride and the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source"; to pay tribute to the great merits of Women's Artist Le Chan - who publicly opened the village and built the ancient An Bien village - today's Hai Phong city. At the same time, continue to promote the value of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage - Queen Le Chan Traditional Festival, Nghe Temple National Historical and Cultural Relic, An Bien Family National Architectural and Artistic Relic. Through the festival activities, continue to promote and advertise the traditional cultural values of the festival, spiritual tourism destinations in the city in general, Le Chan District in particular to tourists inside and outside the city.
The art program "Female General Le Chan - Thanh Hoang Dat Cang" at the opening night includes 2 chapters: female General Le Chan - Thanh Hoang Dat Cang; Hai Phong city and Le Chan district confidently enter the new era. The program is elaborately and uniquely staged, recreating the land and people of Hai Phong from the past, present and towards the future.
Before the opening ceremony, the procession was carried out according to traditional rituals. The two groups marched with the participation of about 1,500 people according to traditional rituals with the Am Boat, Sanh Tien Boat, Chap Dak, Chieu Hoa, Long Che, Kieu vong, Doan Than Nu Quan... The procession departed from Nghe Temple and An Bien Communal House and passed through the streets to the area in front of the Monument of General Le Chan. Next, leaders of the Central and City, departments, branches and localities held a flower offering ceremony and incense offering in front of the statue of General Le Chan.
Previously, on March 6 and 7, the festival took place with many attractive activities. In the area of the Park After the City Exhibition and Cinema Center, the Organizing Committee of the Women's Traditional Festival 2025 organized the Veen Village Market with dozens of booths designed in pure Vietnamese architecture, selling and introducing many typical rustic dishes of Hai Phong cuisine. In addition, the market also has many rich cultural and folk artistic activities such as calligraphy, court lute singing... attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and enjoy.
At the yard of the City Information Center, Exhibition and Cinema, Le Chan District organizes human chess and folk games, expanded traditional martial arts festival, and bird festival...
In addition, at the National Historical and Cultural Relic of Dinh An Bien, An Bien ward organized a puppet dance program with the theme "Legendary footprints". Through the staged performances to tell the story of the life and achievements of female general Le Chan - the first talented and outstanding female general to set foot in An Bien village, laying the foundation for the development of Hai Phong today. This is an activity held for the first time within the framework of the Women's Traditional Festival Le Chan in 2025.
