At the 2024 Golden Kite Awards ceremony (evening of September 10), Anh Tu Atus and Dieu Nhi were named in the category of Most Favorite Actor/Actress.
This is the first time Anh Tu Atus and Dieu Nhi have received the Golden Kite award.
According to the organizers' statistics, after many days of opening the voting portal, Anh Tu Atus excellently became the most favorite Movie Actor with 5,240,036 votes.
Dieu Nhi won the same category - Most Favorite Movie Actress - with 12,293,386 votes.
However, due to personal schedules, Anh Tu Atus - Dieu Nhi could not attend the award ceremony.
After the success of the 2024 Tet movie - Meeting the Pregnant Sister Again, the name Anh Tu has received more attention. Many viewers consider the character Phuc a bright spot in the film career of this Hanoi-born male artist.
Talking about the Golden Kite award, on the morning of September 11, Anh Tu shared: “Tu is grateful for the audience’s affection, this award is a great motivation for Tu to try harder in the future. Tu knows that I still have many shortcomings, but I believe that I can learn and practice to not let down my fans.”
As for Dieu Nhi, she won the award for Most Favorite Drama Actress at the 22nd Mai Vang Awards (2017).
Receiving the next big award, she expressed: "Nhi thanks the audience, seeing such a large number of votes, Nhi knows that everyone has loved and cared for Nhi a lot. In the future, Nhi will try harder, and transform more on screen."
The couple thanked director Nhat Trung and the crew of Meet the Boss for giving them a good role and an opportunity to get closer to the audience.
