On October 25, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced a list of destinations, tours and tourist routes in the province.
Mr. Trinh Hang - Director of the Department of Tourism - said that after a period of surveying and working with relevant units, the unit announced 230 tourist areas and destinations in the province. At the same time, it announced 54 tours, intra-provincial tourism routes and tourism stimulus programs in Ba Ria - Vung Tau in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Of the 54 tours and routes, 12 are serving cruise tourists, expected to attract a large number of international tourists and promote the friendly image of the locality.
In addition, about 34 accommodation establishments and tourism service businesses have launched attractive promotions, discounts, and stimulus programs with high discounts on accommodation or accompanying services, conference packages, etc.; some services are discounted up to 65%.
"Many businesses are implementing incentive and stimulus packages that will last until the end of 2024. Some businesses said they will extend it until February 2025 or later. At the same time, many more units will continue to participate, offering new incentive and stimulus packages," Mr. Hang informed.

The tourism industry said that it has been implementing many solutions to promote local tourism development, through the construction of more tourism products, entertainment venues concentrated in the locality... with the determination to make tourism a spearhead economic sector of the province, an impressive destination for domestic and international tourists.
"The most important thing to develop tourism is still tourism products. Localities have plans to build, such as sports tourism products to attract international visitors during winter; night markets are assigned to the localities of Vung Tau, Xuyen Moc and Con Dao to plan and implement...", Mr. Hang said.
Mr. Hoang Ngoc Linh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association - commented that in fact, in order to attract tourists, some businesses have offered deeper discounts than the announced stimulus package, allowing tourists to enjoy services at very preferential prices.
It is expected that the end of 2024 will be a difficult period for the tourism industry, but units have calculated to be able to provide the highest quality services to tourists at the lowest possible prices, in order to attract tourists during the low season.
