The relic of Xam Temple (also known as Ham Communal House) in Hong Quang Commune, Nam Truc District, Nam Dinh Province was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long with a Decision to rank it as a special national relic (phase 17, 2025). This is the place to worship the main national leader, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Minh Cong (real name Tran Lam) - who contributed greatly to helping Dinh Bo Linh suppress the chaos of 12 ambassadors and unify the country.

After many restorations and renovations, the temple now includes architectural items: Xam Temple and Ham Communal House. The main project, built in the Cong style, includes: front hall, middle hall and back hall. The support for the road trunk is 12 pillars with 6 pillars placed at the foot of the stone pedestal.
To meet the summer festival and administrative activities of the village, which developed strongly in the first half of the 20th century, the people built an additional Han communal house to perform the administrative and cultural functions of a communal house. In terms of architecture, Han communal house is built with concrete in the form of columns, arms, 2 roofs combined with a gai gai gai inside.

In addition to its ancient and unique architecture, Xam Temple also preserves many valuable ancient artifacts such as: throne, incense burner, gate gate gate, statue of Tran Minh Cong, bronze bell, etc. Every year, Xam Temple festival is held on the 17th and 19th of the 8th lunar month.
Currently, this ancient temple is still in its original state, but over time, some items are deteriorating. Mr. Nguyen Cong Chi - Management Board of Xam Temple - said: "Xam Temple has many artistic styles spanning more than 400 years, very valuable as a historical and cultural relic, preserved by local people. In addition, Xam Temple has just been recognized as a special national monument, so we hope that the local government will soon pay attention to repairing and upgrading the degraded items of the temple".
