BTS sets new record in France with album "ARIRANG

BTS's album "ARIRANG" continues to make its mark on the international market when officially receiving Platinum certification in France.

This achievement was confirmed by the French National Recording Industry Association (SNEP), marking a remarkable step forward for the group in one of the major music markets in Europe.

According to SNEP regulations, Platinum certification is awarded to albums that reach a consumption level equivalent to 100,000 units, including physical record sales, downloads, and converted online listens. "ARIRANG" reaching this milestone shows BTS's stable appeal, while reflecting the increasing trend of K-pop influence in the Western market.

Notably, this is the group's fourth album to achieve Platinum certification in France, after previous products such as "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7", "Proof" and "LOVE YOURSELF: ANSWER". This achievement helps BTS consolidate their position in the rare Asian group that maintains stable sales in this region.

Not only stopping there, "ARIRANG" also showed impressive growth speed. The album achieved Gold certification after only 6 days of release and continued to reach Platinum for about a month. Compared to previous products, this is a significant step forward, as albums like "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" or "Proof" took more than a year to reach the same milestone.

Besides the French market, BTS also recorded positive results in Japan. The album "ARIRANG" has surpassed 750,000 copies shipped, thereby achieving three Platinum certifications after only 11 days of release. This figure shows the strong purchasing power of fans, while affirming the group's position in the world's second largest music market.

In parallel with album release activities, BTS has launched the "BTS WORLD TOUR "ARIRANG" IN NORTH AMERICA" tour. The North American tour includes 12 cities with a total of 31 shows, expected to attract a large audience. The first stop in Tampa (USA) recorded a ticket outage, reflecting the group's appeal on live stage.

Continuously achieving revenue milestones and expanding the scale of tours shows BTS's sustainable development strategy in the global market. In the context of increasingly fierce competition, these achievements continue to consolidate the group's position as one of the prominent representatives of the international K-pop wave.
