The special art program celebrating Quang Ninh province becoming a centrally-run city and celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026) is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM on August 28th in the 30.10 Square area and Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road (Ha Long ward, Hong Gai ward) with the theme "Quang Ninh - Radiant City of the Future".
The program has a scale of about 100,000 delegates, people and tourists participating directly; broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV), Newspaper and Radio, Quang Ninh Television and digital platforms.
The program is elaborately and grandly invested in and has the participation of about 1,000 famous artists, singers, actors and parade forces..., including NSND Quang Tho, Tung Duong, Soobin, Den, Toc Tien, Ho Quynh Huong, Rhyder, Jiyeon (Korean band T-Ara), Ngoc Anh, NSUT Hoang Tung... and local artists.
The highlight of the program is the open stage with a central rotating stage design, connecting the performance space on land, at sea and in the air, forming a continuous performance overall, creating conditions for a large number of people and tourists to participate in the program from many different locations.
However, unlike previous concerts, this time, the Organizing Committee does not issue tickets in advance but will organize the distribution of bracelets when people and tourists come to participate in the program.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - by this afternoon (August 26), there will be official information about the time and method of receiving bracelets to participate in the program.
Around the main stage area, the Organizing Committee still divides into Zones (areas) to coordinate, control and ensure safety and order for the program and people and tourists to watch.
The organizers will also arrange 8 LED screen areas and good sound to serve audiences who cannot get close to the main stage.
Along with the special art program is a light show of 72 cruise ships on Ha Long Bay, combined with sound and fireworks performances on the ship, from 6:30 pm to 10 pm, and a light show with about 3,000 drone lights in the sky.
The ceremony to announce the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of Quang Ninh city and receiving the First-class Labor Medal is expected to be held on the morning of August 28, 2026 at the Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, Ha Long ward.
