On April 21, Saigon Ward Police in Ho Chi Minh City are verifying information from a Facebook post related to the accusation that Trung Quan Idol had the act of beating people.
According to information from doctor Pham Minh Truong, his wife, doctor Nguyen Linh Thuy, and a group of colleagues (both doctors) attended a party in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of April 21. Notably, singer Trung Quan was also present at this event.
During the party, Trung Quan Idol actively approached a doctor in the group, asking this person to continue staying for the fun. However, this doctor did not agree.
After the party ended, colleagues, doctor Nguyen Linh Thuy and the other doctor left. At this time, Trung Quan ran after and had an uncontrolled behavior, leading to the assault of female doctor Linh Thuy. The victim was then injured in the face and hands and fell into a state of mental panic.
Doctor Pham Minh Truong said that he had received an apology from Trung Quan Idol. However, the family did not accept reconciliation and is collecting security camera data, and at the same time coordinating with lawyers to make a written record to report to functional agencies, requesting clarification and handling according to legal regulations.
