Billboard has announced the World Albums chart for the week ending on August 8. Many Kpop artists continue to hold high positions, in which Cortis attracts attention with stable performances of two music products.
Cortis's latest EP titled "Greengreen" held its 2nd place in its 13th week on the charts. The album also rose, returning to number 114 on the Billboard 200.
The group's debut EP "Color outside the lines" also ranked 12th in its 47th week. Having two albums on the charts at the same time shows Cortis' persistent appeal in the international market.
ATEEZ closely followed in 3rd place with the mini album "Golden hour: Part. 5". The product has been present on World Albums for 5 weeks. Yeonjun's solo mini album "No labels: Part 02", a member of TXT, ranked 4th in the 3rd week.
Notably, BTS's 2022 compilation album "Proof" holds the 5th position. This is already the 216th week the album has been on the chart, affirming the product's long-term vitality despite being released for many years.
BTS's Japanese album "Map of the soul: 7 – The journey" also rose to 14th place in its 39th week.
Meanwhile, Le Sserafim's "Pureflow" ranked 6th in its 10th week. Boynextdoor's studio album "Home" ranked 7th in its 7th week, while aespa's "Lemonade" ranked 9th in its 9th week.
Stray Kids has two products charting. "Karma" ranked 10th in its 49th week, while the special album "Do it" ranked 22nd after 36 weeks.
Illit's album "Mamihlapinatapai" held 13th place in its 13th week. NewJeans' "Get up" was 15th and had 151 weeks on the chart.
ENHYPEN also made a mark with two albums. "The sin: Vanish" ranked 20th on week 28, while the 2024 release album "Romance: Untold" rose back to 24th on week 101.
This week's results continue to show the ability to maintain the appeal of Kpop artists. Not only new products, many albums released a few years ago still have significant consumption in the international market.
