1. Jinny: Jinny had a 5-year internship at YG and was quite close to Lisa. However, she was not in the Blackpink debut lineup after that. On the morning of November 2017, Jinny left the company.
In 2018, Jinny participated in the show Produce 48 but only stopped at 69th place. After being eliminated from Produce 48, Jinny signed a contract with Vine Entertainment and debuted in the group Secret Number through the MV "Who Dis?" released in May 2020. In the group, she took on the role of the group's main rapper.
2. Jang Hanna: Jang Hanna was picked by YG after appearing on Superstar K3 in 2014. She is also a famous trainee of the company when she appeared at the survival show Mix & Match performed by YG in 2015. However, she did not have a place in the Blackpink squad. Therefore, in March 2017, Jang Hanna left YG.
In May 2020, she officially debuted as an independent singer through the song "Runnaway".
3. Miyeon: Miyeon joined YG at the same time as Jennie but left in 2015. It was reported that the female idol was dating a male trainee at the same company - YG's ban on alcohol, so she had to leave. By 2018, Miyeon had officially debuted with (G)I-DLE and became the main vocalist of this group.
4. Euna Kim: Euna Kim was accepted into YG after her successful performance in the program Superstar K3. However, she decided to leave the company after more than 3 years of internship because she was skeptical about her debut ability. In 2014, Euna Kim debuted solo and then joined The Ark in 2015.
After leaving YG, Euna Kim's musical path has encountered many difficulties when the groups she participated in such as The Ark and KHAN have all disbanded.
5. Kim Eunbi: Kim Eunbi became a trainee at YG after participating in the Superstar K2 program. However, in October 2014, YG confirmed that Kim Eunbi had left the company due to health reasons.
In 2019, Kim Eunbi returned to the entertainment industry as an independent singer, releasing the song "I'm Your Fan".
