After finishing the activity to support Myanmar in overcoming the consequences of the earthquake, the rescue forces of the Vietnam Army and Police, including 106 officers and soldiers, returned to Vietnam. The plane carrying the convoy landed safely at Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi).
Welcoming the rescue, relief and overcoming forces from Myanmar returning to Noi Bai airport were Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Public Security.
At the airport, Major General Pham Van Ty - Deputy Director of the Department of Rescue, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) - reported on the two working groups of the two ministries' excellent completion of rescue and overcoming the consequences of the earthquake in Myanmar.
According to Major General Pham Van Ty, the rescue process in Myanmar is much more difficult and dangerous than in Türkiye.
The Vietnamese delegation worked in the hot weather, many buried bodies were decomposed, affecting their health. During the work, there were still dangerous aftershocks for rescue forces in Myanmar.
However, Major General Pham Van Ty said: "We have determined to search for victims in the rubble such as finding our relatives and compatriots, for the brotherly people of Myanmar".
According to statistics, the rescue team of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security found 28 bodies of victims, saving 1 person's life in Myanmar.

At Noi Bai International Airport, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Cua recorded and praised the results of the task of supporting the Myanmar people to overcome the consequences of the earthquake of the rescue and rescue force of Vietnam People's Army; Affirming this is a noble international obligation and contributes to strengthening cooperation between Vietnam and Myanmar.
The Deputy Minister of National Defense expressed his hope that the country would soon complete the reconstruction activities after the earthquake, stabilizing the lives of people in affected areas.

At the welcoming ceremony, Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Public Security - shared that the soldiers in the working group deserve to be heroes in rescuing and saving people in natural disasters and natural disasters.
During their field missions during the earthquake in Myanmar, the soldiers in the working group overcame difficulties due to hot weather conditions, no electricity and water, difficult communication, and the risk of dangerous aftershocks, and buildings could collapse at any time.
