Lao Dong's records show that in the area in front of Dinh Binh Dong (Binh Dong ward), people have been bustling in and out since early morning.
Many families wear ao dai, bringing offerings such as fresh flowers, fruits, and candies to offer. In the main hall, people sincerely burn incense and pray for a new year of good health and smooth work.

Inside the main hall, people lined up to offer sacrifices, lighting incense sticks in a solemn atmosphere. Many people clasped their hands in prayer, sending wishes for health, peace, and smooth work in the new year.

After performing the ceremony, some families also perform the ritual of releasing fish and birds with the belief of praying for blessings and accumulating goodness at the beginning of the year.
The management board arranges instructions for burning incense in the right place, reminding people not to burn votive paper indiscriminately, and maintain general hygiene. Support forces also regularly provide guidance to avoid jostling and ensure order in the premises.

In addition, lion and dragon dance activities also take place in the communal house yard, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch and take photos, creating a bustling atmosphere in the early spring days.
Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Mai (Cho Lon ward) said that every year her family maintains the habit of going to the communal house on the 2nd day of Tet.
Going to temples at the beginning of the year to pray for peace for the whole family. I don't pray for anything big, I just hope for health, children and grandchildren to improve their studies, and stable business," Ms. Mai shared.
Also at Ngoc Hoang Pagoda (Phuoc Hai Pagoda), in the first two days of the new year, a large number of people came to offer incense and pray for good luck.

Mr. Tran Minh Tuan (Thu Duc ward) said that he and his wife came to the pagoda early. "The two newlyweds want to go to the temple at the beginning of the year, praying for family harmony and good news soon," Mr. Tuan said.
Many people share that going to temples at the beginning of the year is not only to pray for good luck but also an opportunity to regain peace and start the new year with a gentle and positive attitude.
