His friend likes to go out to drink beer and jokes that going "satisfies base desires", while he only goes far to satisfy the desire that always burns from within.
Every time he goes, as the elders say, "travel day by day, learn wisdom", he collects many useful things and at least nourishes his eyes. Up to the forest and down to the sea. From the towering mountains to the vast plains, from the scorching hot desert with "specialties" of wind and sand, to the jade-green sea, clear as a giant mirror.
The people he met, the lands he visited enriched his memories. There were points where he returned several times and each time he came, he discovered something, like the famous proverb "No one steps in the same river twice".
Every time he came home, he would call his neighbor to sit down and enjoy a pot of lotus tea and rustic peanut candy. He happily "slashed" about his trips, which for him were always full of memories. The neighbor sat and listened passionately, looking at him admiringly. He worked as a tailor, so he only lived around in a cramped 16 square meter space all day. On weekends, he only went out to the city a little and then returned. Every few years, the whole family went on a short trip together.
Today, as usual, I just came back from a long trip and the first person I want to share with is still you. This time, he didn't sound as passionate as usual, making him a bit lost. Then naturally, he asked: Do you know so many things? Have you noticed what brand of clothes your wife wears and what kind of lipstick she uses? Making him stop and look at him somewhat annoyed like why do you care so much about my family?
He laughed occasionally: Just kidding, because my wife often goes shopping with my sister, so I know her fashion taste and lipstick. I don't know why, my sister matches my wife in so many things!
He lit a cigarette and took a long breath. Looking at the white smoke rising, he suddenly thought: How many things do you need to know in life?
