Dilireba's role in the new film directed by Stephen Chow is expected to create a breakthrough for her career.

After many years, "comedy king" Stephen Chow once again tried his hand at sports combined with martial arts through the movie "Kungfu Soccer", written and directed by him.

The movie has just officially announced its release date in July, immediately igniting anticipation on social networks.

As a new work inheriting the classic spirit of "Shaolin Soccer" (2001), the film combines traditional martial arts with women's football, continuing to tell an inspiring story about ordinary people rising up with effort, with the characteristic vibrant and warm style of Stephen Chow.

Although not yet released, "The Kungfu Girl" continuously tops search rankings and becomes one of the most anticipated works in the Chinese box office in the summer of 2026.

The film tells a passionate story about the journey of fighting at the Asian Women's Club Championship of the Chinese women's national football team named "Nga Mi team", revolving around the growth process of the whole team from being not highly appreciated to a comeback to win the championship.

The "Kungfu Women's Football Team" has a powerful cast, combining talented actors and idol stars, along with many former Chinese women's football players participating as guests or acting themselves.

Truong Tieu Phi will play the captain of the strong and courageous Song Song women's football team; Truong Nghe Hung will play martial arts coach Tu Phong; and Korean actor Song Kang Ho will appear as a guest in the referee character.

In addition, former Chinese women's national football player Trieu Le Na and Ly Giai Duyet also participated as themselves and provided professional support throughout the filming process, to help make the match scenes more attractive and realistic.

However, according to Chinese media, the most surprising thing in the list of actors is the presence of Dilraba Dilmurat.

She is introduced to break away from her familiar sweet, flexible image to play Ngoc Lung - the main striker wearing jersey number 8 of Nga Mi team - completely transforming into a strong sports girl.

Challengeing herself with the role of Ngoc Lung, Dich Le Nhiet Ba put in a lot of effort. To have a figure suitable for a professional player, the actress is said to have actively gained 8kg, combined with muscle training to have a toned and healthy body.

Not only that, the Xinjiang beauty also participated in a 3-month training course, learning football techniques and traditional martial arts; and combined the force technique of Shaolin Wu Lang Bat Quai with football kicks and self-practiced a unique finishing technique.

During training and high-intensity filming, Dilraba Dilmurat is said to have performed difficult movements herself instead of using stuntmen. The curve shots in the air or blocking the ball with "two-stringed meditation" (Shaolin movement) were all performed directly by her.

The actress continuously practices with a professional coach to perfect every detail of attack and defense, harmoniously combining the flexibility of traditional martial arts with the strength of modern football, gradually putting aside the aura of idols to blend into the image of a passionate striker.

The character Ngoc Lung played by Dich Le Nhiet Ba is described as the sharpest spearhead of the Nga Mi team, using fighting spirit to express the desire to pursue youthful dreams.
