Adapted from the novel "Black Lotus Strategy Handbook" by author Bach Vu Trich Dieu Cung, "Eternal Night Galaxy" tells the story of Lang Dieu Dieu (Ngu Thu Han) - a modern girl who unexpectedly transmigrates into the book of Troc Yeu as the female supporting character Lam Ngu.
To be able to return to the real world, Dieu Dieu must complete the tasks assigned by the system, the most important of which is to make Mo Thanh/Mo Tu Ky (Dinh Vu He) fall in love with her.
Initially, the project faced some concerns because the plot was somewhat childish and predictable. However, after 11 episodes, the film received many positive responses. Most recently (on the morning of November 5), the film opened on Douban with a score of 7.5 and more than 39,000 reviews.
This is a pretty good achievement for a work that has been shown for 4 days. The media believes that "Eternal Night Galaxy" is loved because the film adapts the content better than the original as well as the good "chemistry" between Ngu Thu Han and Dinh Vu He.
In particular, the biggest plus point of the TV series is that the two female characters - Dieu Dieu and Mo Dao (sister Mo Thanh) have a good relationship, considering each other as sisters, while in the original, the character Mo Dao was criticized for not having charisma and being jealous. Therefore, when Mo Dao suddenly fell in love and took a risk because of Dieu Dieu, she was suddenly criticized.
In the other part, in the novel, the main content revolves around Mo Thanh and Dieu Dieu, while in the film, Mo Dao, Phat Y and the supporting characters are explored more deeply. The details about the friendship of the four also bring a more realistic and connected feeling to the audience.
In the original, Mo Qing increased his favorability towards Dieu Dieu when thinking about their intimate scenes, while in the movie, the scene of the two together was built smoothly and cutely.
The way they are together, increasing their favorability not only clearly shows the characters' personalities but also shows their compatibility. That is a carefree, silly, but lovely, understanding Dieu Dieu, while Mo Thanh is "cold on the outside, warm on the inside" but also very kind, sincere, and weak.
The actor's dedication is also a scoring factor. Ngu Thu Han revealed that she read the entire original work, studied the 3 versions, and saw where Dieu Dieu's strengths were, and why the character was loved by everyone.
The actress carefully researched to show Dieu Dieu's level of expression, so that when on film it still brings humor to the audience but also must not be too exaggerated but must be realistic.
Meanwhile, Dinh Vu He is also very "dedicated" to the role of Mo Thanh. In early October, the actor even returned to Hengdian (Jinhua, China) to film some additional scenes for the work.
It is worth mentioning that this was not a request from the film crew but was done by the male star himself, with the purpose of promoting the film and helping the audience better understand the character he plays.
