From 11:00 PM on September 11th, Hanoi adjusts traffic organization at the Lang Ha - Giang Vo - La Thanh intersection to serve the construction of the overpass at the Lang Ha - Giang Vo intersection, belonging to the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, phase 2.
According to the plan announced by the Hanoi Department of Construction, vehicles from Giang Vo going to Ring Road 1 in the direction of Nguyen Chi Thanh are allowed to go straight through the intersection, then turn right into Ring Road 1.
Vehicles from Ring Road 1 to Hao Nam - Hoang Cau will continuously turn right into Lang Ha street. After that, the vehicle will turn around at the median strip opening points on Lang Ha street and then turn right in the direction of Hao Nam - Hoang Cau.
In the direction from Lang Ha to Giang Vo, vehicles are organized to go straight through the intersection to cross to Giang Vo street.
Notably, Hanoi prohibits all cars from the center of the intersection from entering old La Thanh street in the direction of Hao Nam - Hoang Cau.
The BRT lane sign on Lang Ha street in the direction of Lang has also been restored, in accordance with the current traffic organization plan. The remaining traffic directions continue to be implemented according to Notice No. 920/TB-SXD dated June 11, 2026 of the Hanoi Department of Construction.
The new plan takes effect from 11:00 PM on September 11, 2026 and will be implemented until there is a replacement notice.
Hanoi Department of Construction requests the investor to only adjust the barriers to serve construction after completing the maintenance and repair of the road in the Giang Vo - La Thanh - Lang Ha intersection area.
Before adjusting the barriers, the investor must coordinate with the Department of Construction, Hanoi City Police and local authorities to check the current status, unify the sign system and ensure traffic safety conditions.
The Hanoi City Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board is required to widely publicize the traffic diversion plan in the mass media, and at the same time coordinate with local authorities to notify people, agencies, and businesses in the barricade area.
Traffic guidance and diversion forces are arranged in the construction area, coordinating with traffic police to regulate vehicles and handle arising situations.
During the construction process, the investor must implement dust control measures to ensure environmental sanitation such as covering the construction site, arranging car wash bridges, spraying mist, and watering the construction area.
Machinery and materials must be gathered within the fence area. Bringing machinery and materials out is only allowed from 10 pm the previous day to 5 am the next morning. Moving outside this time must have a permit as prescribed.
The Traffic Police Department and People's Committees of Giang Vo and Lang wards are assigned to arrange forces to regulate, strengthen inspection, and handle violations of traffic order and safety, especially illegal parking and stopping, encroachment on roads and sidewalks causing congestion.
People traveling through the Lang Ha - Giang Vo - La Thanh intersection during construction are advised to proactively monitor the traffic diversion plan, comply with traffic signs and instructions from functional forces to ensure safety and limit congestion.
