On April 25 and 26, Canh Vinh commune (Gia Lai) organized a series of events "Canh Tien Rendezvous - A place to blend with nature", celebrating the 51st anniversary of the complete liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and responding to the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026.
Canh Vinh commune converges the unique cultural values of Ba Na and Cham people; possessing a rich natural ecosystem with fresh streams and lakes, vast green forests, and many landscapes with rich potential for developing ecotourism and community tourism.
The series of events creates momentum, unlocks potential, awakens identity, connects the community and spreads local image.
The highlight of the program is the recreation and restoration of traditional rituals such as the rain praying ceremony, the new rice celebration ceremony, and the wedding ceremony of the Ba Na and Cham people, contributing to preserving and honoring indigenous cultural values.
Sports activities within the framework of the 1st Canh Vinh Commune Sports Festival in 2026 such as volleyball, tug of war, boat racing, folk dances... took place sôi nổi, spreading the spirit of training and community cohesion.
Prominent are a series of eco-tourism experience activities such as bicycle exchange "Conquering Nha Sam Pass Road", SUP paddling on Nui Mot Lake, kite flying, fishing, visiting Dak Ram stream, Do waterfall, Loc Vung complex... creating a diverse and attractive experience space, helping visitors clearly feel the natural beauty of Canh Vinh.
Within the framework of the event, the locality organized a thematic workshop on community tourism and ecotourism development, towards shaping a sustainable development strategy, linking economy with cultural preservation.
Opening the series of events, Mr. Vu Trong Tien - Vice Chairman of Canh Vinh Commune People's Committee - emphasized the goal of promoting the image of a land rich in identity, friendliness, affection and rich in development potential.
Mr. Tien said that this is an opportunity for the locality to strengthen connections, expand cooperation with businesses, organizations and tourists; gradually build unique tourism products, improve people's lives, towards sustainable development.
