Regarding the competition results, in the women's 300m event, Truong Thi Thu Thao (Maria Truong, Ho Chi Minh City) won first prize; Ha Thi Uyen Nhi (Da Nang) finished second; Nguyen Thi Hieu (Nha Trang) ranked third.

In the men's 300m distance, Phan Phu Kiet (Quy Nhon) finished first; Nguyen Van Thang and Nguyen Cong Hieu (both from Da Nang) ranked second and third respectively.
In the women's 2000m event, Truong Thi Thu Thao continued to finish first; Ha Thi Uyen Nhi finished second; Nguyen Thi Hieu ranked third.
