Ha Young still participates in "Trauma Care Centers" 2 and 3 despite controversy

Actress Ha Young currently shows no signs of withdrawing from upcoming projects even though her past related to her family is causing great controversy.

According to Korean media, while the filming process of the movie "The long shot trial" is about to be completed, Ha Young is also expected to continue participating in "The trauma code" seasons 2 and 3.

Ha Young gained attention after appearing in Netflix's "The trauma code: Heroes on call" which premiered its first season in early 2025.

After that, she continued to build her name through projects such as "Monthly boyfriend", "Bloodhounds 2", "Teach you a lesson" and recently "Our sticky love".

Ha Young once shared on an entertainment program that she came from a "family of 4 generations of doctors". However, her career recently faced a major crisis after information about the actress's great-grandfather was made public and controversial.

Initially, Ha Young's management company denied the spreading information and said it was "baseless". However, just one day later, the company had to apologize for responding hastily without full verification.

Ha Young also bowed her head to apologize, admitting that she had mentioned family history superficially without understanding the history of the country correctly.

Public opinion reacted quite harshly, causing Ha Young to cancel an interview to promote the movie "Our sticky love" scheduled for August 14.

However, she continued to film SBS's new drama "The long shot trial". During filming, Ha Young burst into tears and could not stabilize her emotions, causing filming to be temporarily suspended. After that, with the consideration of the film crew, the actress was given about a week off to stabilize her spirit.

The long shot trial" is expected to end filming in September. Because most of the scenes have been completed, the production side is said to be unlikely to easily make a decision to remove Ha Young from the project.

Representatives of the film crew said that they are still internally discussing and considering options to minimize the impact on a large number of actors and staff. The remaining necessary filming schedules are also being adjusted.

Meanwhile, the schedule for filming "The trauma code" season 2, Ha Young's next project, is also receiving a lot of attention. According to sources in the industry, Netflix is not only preparing for "The trauma code" season 2, but also planning for season 3.

Ha Young is said to not leave the series and will continue to play the role of Cheon Jang Mi.

Before this information, Netflix responded cautiously: "The production of the sequel is still in the discussion phase, so we can hardly confirm the start time of filming or information about the cast".
