Jung Hae In and Ha Young's "Our Sticky Love" tops Netflix with 7.5 million views, amidst the female lead's family background controversy.

According to Netflix, the romantic comedy "Our Sticky Love" reached 7.5 million views in the week from August 10-16, just a few days after its release. This achievement helped the film hold the top spot in its first week, amidst the noise surrounding Ha Young attracting attention.

Previously, Ha Young and her management company apologized after information related to the actress's family background was brought up again. However, controversy continued to draw attention to her activities and projects.

Notably, Ha Young's next project is "The long shot trial", starring Lee Je Hoon, which is also receiving attention in this context. SBS's film is still in the filming process and is scheduled to air in 2027. The station said that the production process is still ongoing, while there has been no official announcement about changing the cast.

During the controversy, Ha Young was said to have burst into tears during the filming of "The long shot trial". According to Korean media, the actress had to take a few hours off to stabilize her emotions before returning to the studio and continuing work.

Besides "Our sticky love", two other Korean dramas also recorded notable rankings on Netflix's global non-English TV drama rankings. Among them, "Chuyện tình ma quái" of tvN, starring Park Eun Bin, ranked 3rd with 2.7 million views, while "Đặc vụ Kim tái khởi động" of SBS ranked 9th with 1.4 million views.
