Come here four birds of the sky" is a music night honoring musicians Tran Tien, Van Cao, Pham Duy, Trinh Cong Son, expected to be held at 8:00 PM on December 28th at the stage of My Dinh Athletics Palace (Hanoi).
However, after 8 pm, the event stage was still empty, causing the audience to panic. Ms. Huong, a spectator from Ho Chi Minh City, flew to Hanoi just to participate in the program. She said that right from the moment she stepped into the stands, she felt the chaos and market from the organization stage.
We bought tickets according to the ranks distributed close to each other. But when we came here, the Organizing Committee told us to distribute by area, wherever we wanted to sit, we sat," Ms. Huong said.
At about 8:30 pm, a representative of the Organizing Committee appeared on stage apologizing for postponing the show without stating a specific reason. This person said that the latest announcement about the program will be around the end of January 2026.
Immediately, the event stands became chaotic. Thousands of spectators rushed onto the stage, expressing disappointment and frustration because the program postponed the show at the last minute without a reasonable explanation.
Ms. Mai Yen, a spectator from Japan who came to Vietnam to watch the show, shared: "Because I really love musician Tran Tien and singer Bang Kieu, I bought tickets for the program. I only had 3-5 days in Vietnam before returning to Japan. But when I arrived here, I saw a very messy scene, no guides, the audience could sit wherever they wanted.
Waiting for a long time, someone announced that due to force majeure reasons, they could not perform. I only have a few days here, I don't know how the Organizing Committee will handle it? Looking around, everyone is also in a lot of chaos".
The unexpected event caused the audience to be upset, pouring into the stage to request explanations. Many middle-aged and elderly audiences expressed fatigue and disappointment because they spent time and effort attending but were not respected by the Organizing Committee.
According to research, at about 7 pm tonight (ie 1 hour before the program took place), on the Fanpage of the Organizing Committee, it was announced that the show had to be postponed because the conditions were not enough for the program to take place. However, just a few minutes later, they deleted the post and said that the program was still as planned.
On the other hand, at that time, there were many spectators present at the venue to wait to enjoy the show. After announcing the show postponement, the Organizing Committee still did not appear to answer the audience's questions.
Previously, the music night "Come here, four birds of the sky" announced the participation of artists: Hong Nhung, Ha Tran, Doan Trang, Tan Minh, Bang Kieu and young singers such as Lam Bao Ngoc, Tuan Anh, Thanh Thuy, Cao Trung Hieu as general director, musician Hoai Sa as Music Director.
After that, singer Bang Kieu, musician Hoai Sa and Mr. Cao Trung Hieu announced their withdrawal due to busy work. Mr. Vu Hong Thang and Vu Quang Trung replaced them in the positions of General Director and Music Director.
Close to the performance time, Music Director Vu Quang Trung posted an article on his personal Facebook announcing that he and 40 artists would not participate in the show. According to Mr. Trung, the Organizing Committee did not fully implement the terms in the contract, making the show unable to meet the conditions to take place.
Singers Hong Nhung, Doan Trang, and artist Tran Manh Tuan also announced their withdrawal from the event.
The program "Going Here, Four Heavenly Birds" was announced from October. After more than two months of preparation, on the morning of December 28, the Organizing Committee announced the temporary suspension of the show due to lack of funding, needing more time to sell tickets and change locations.
By the afternoon of the same day, representatives of the organizing committee said that the crew and artists were still trying to overcome difficulties so that the program could take place as planned. However, in the evening, the show was suddenly postponed, causing public outrage.
