Sharing with Lao Dong reporter on the morning of December 4, musician Duong Khac Linh - representative of the organizing committee said that the live show "Linh Tu" had to postpone the deadline in the context of Dak Lak's hometown suffering heavy damage due to storms and floods.
The crew agreed to postpone the music night to share the sadness with people in flooded areas, and at the same time donated 100 million VND through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province.
He said that recently, the image of the people of Dak Lak - where he was born and raised struggling in floodwaters made him feel heartbroken. After discussing with the organizer, we decided to move the live show to another more suitable time, he said.
Sharing more with Lao Dong, Duong Khac Linh said that this was not an easy decision because "Linh Tu" was prepared by him as a milestone to look back on his 15-year journey with music. However, the entire crew agreed to prioritize the general situation.
"The organizers regretfully agreed to postpone the show to March 21, 2026" - he shared.
Regarding the ticket settlement plan that the audience has bought, he said: "The audience can reserve tickets, or if they want to get their tickets back, the organizers will provide full support".
The music night celebrating Duong Khac Linh's 15 years of working is expected to have the participation of many singers who have collaborated with him in projects, including Ho Ngoc Ha, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Trung Quan, JayKii... Familiar songs in his career will be renewed in terms of harmony, arrangement and stage design.
Having been involved in music since 1998, starting a business in the Netherlands and returning to Vietnam in 2007, Duong Khac Linh said that he is proud to be able to make a living from his profession and has tried his hand at many roles such as musician, producer, judge, music director.
He hopes that when the natural disaster situation has calmed down, the live show "Linh Tu" in March 2026 will be an opportunity to look back on his 15-year career, show gratitude to the audience and express more affection for his hometown Dak Lak after the storm and flood.
