On the evening of October 17, Miss Grand International announced the results, Yen Nhi stopped at the group D confrontation round when losing to Myanmar representative - JK Sophia. Although Yen Nhi's image in the contest reached 464,000 likes, she lost in terms of sharing, an important factor in the way she scores. This result caused the Vietnamese beauty to lose her place in the Top 20 through online voting, giving the position to representatives from Thailand, the Philippines, Paraguay and Myanmar.
According to the Organizing Committee, this is a voting category that does not charge fees, based entirely on real interactions. Some opinions said that Yen Nhi's failure to break through in this round was somewhat affected by the noise of previous statements, causing the voting effect to decrease.
