ILLIT's song "Magnetic" continues to make its mark when it surpasses the 800 million streams mark on the Spotify platform.

Magnetic" reached this milestone by the end of last month. This is considered the fastest achievement for a K-pop group's debut song. Although released in March 2024, the song still maintains a stable appeal after more than two years, showing its persistent spread in the international music market.

Magnetic" is a dance-colored product, combining the two genres PluggnB and House. The song's content uses the image of "magnets" to compare the vibrating emotions in front of the person you like. The catchy melody, youthful lyrics and characteristic "hand-pointing" choreography have contributed to helping the song quickly create a trend on social networks, attracting a large number of fans to participate in the challenge.

Right from its release, the song has achieved many outstanding achievements. "Magnetic" became the first and fastest K-pop debut song to reach the US Billboard Hot 100 chart as well as enter the UK official single chart. These are important milestones, affirming the potential of a rookie group in the international market.

Not only stopping there, the song also recorded achievements in Japan when it became the song of a foreign female artist with the fastest 300 million streams on Oricon's weekly streaming chart. This achievement continues to consolidate ILLIT's position in one of the largest music markets in Asia.

To date, ILLIT's total streams on Spotify have exceeded 2.3 billion. The group currently owns 7 songs with over 100 million listens, of which "Magnetic" plays a key role in expanding global recognition.

Continuously setting records with debut songs shows ILLIT's effective music development strategy, and also reflects the trend of listeners increasingly welcoming new faces of K-pop. The success of "Magnetic" is expected to be an important foundation for the group to continue to break through in the coming time.
