ILLIT reveals return schedule

DI PY |

Female rookie group ILLIT officially announced plans to return with their fourth mini album "MAMIHLAPINATAPAI".

ILLIT, including members Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee and Iroha, has released promotional schedules on social media platforms, opening the highly anticipated comeback campaign. Immediately, this information attracted great attention from the K-pop fan community.

According to the plan, the group will successively release concept photo sets with two versions "GRWM" (April 7) and "FREE RIDER" (April 14), after revealing the unique "PAW PAW" concept, where each member is associated with a corresponding animal image. The new images are expected to clearly show the change in style, towards a more mature and multi-dimensional image.

Not stopping there, ILLIT continues to "heat up" with a highlight medley on April 21, introducing the songs in the album. The content revolving around the title track "It's Me" will be gradually released with promotional videos (April 23) and a special concept photo set (April 24). Two teaser MVs are expected to be released on April 27 and 28, before the album officially airs at 6 pm on April 30.

Notably, to celebrate the comeback, the group will organize the "ILLIT Seoul Children's Park Festival" event on May 5, aiming for interactive experiences for families and fans, revolving around the theme song "It's Me".

This promotional calendar image also causes curiosity when using a rose symbol placed in a plastic bag, creating a contrast with the cute style before. This detail is considered a metaphor for the complex emotions and inner depth that the group wants to convey.

The mini album "MAMIHLAPINATAPAI" is introduced as exploiting the subtle vibrations in relationships, especially the period after the first date. The title track "It's Me" conveys a direct message about love emotions: "You are my favorite person", marking a new step forward in ILLIT's image and music.
