Jisoo (Blackpink) received the "Raising Star Madame Figaro" award at the Canneseries - international television film festival held from April 23 to 28 in Cannes, France.

Jisoo will officially receive the award at the opening ceremony of the film festival on April 23. Previously, many promising young stars who had been awarded this award such as Sydney Sweeney, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Marie Colomb, Ella Purnell, Morfydd Clark and Phoebe Dynevor.

Debuting with Blackpink in 2016, Jisoo quickly became one of the prominent icons of global pop culture. This group has made its mark with many tours around the world sold out and achieved a series of records for online listens.
Besides music activities, Jisoo also has a strong influence on social networks with more than 80 million followers on Instagram, becoming one of the most followed Korean artists on this platform.
