"Love Next Door" marks the reunion of director Yoo Je Won and screenwriter Shin Ha Eun - who collaborated on the hit TV series "The Cha-Cha-Cha Dance of the Coast Village" (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha).
The film's story revolves around Bae Seok Ryu ( Jung So Min ) - a woman trying to restart her troubled life, and the son of her mother's friend - Choi Seung Hyo (Jung Hae In) - whom she considers is a dark chapter in life.
