According to shares from relatives, in his last days, his health seriously deteriorated; the tumor caused severe damage to part of his face.
Previously, Kasim Hoang Vu was diagnosed with a jaw tumor in early 2023, after having a wisdom tooth removed. By the end of the year, he underwent surgery, but the consequence was that his face was dislocated and part of his chin was deformed.
However, his health condition did not improve, forcing the male singer to continue on the operating table for the second time in August 2024.
After this surgery, he lost a lot of weight, endured no small amount of pain and had to spend nearly half a year resting and recovering. Throughout the treatment period, he almost restricted all activities of his jaw muscles, could not sing and only used soft foods to ensure health.
During the time after that, Kasim Hoang Vu was continuously hospitalized for emergency treatment due to the complicated developments of his illness.
Sharing about the male singer's condition, Trizzie Phuong Trinh said that since contracting the disease, Kasim has lost about 15 kg, and his appearance has changed a lot. According to her, he has experienced too many losses but still silently endures, resolutely fights the disease and hides his pain.
Over the past time, he has also limited his appearance and interaction on social networks. His personal page is mainly updated with scattered information related to restaurants run by him and his mother in the US.
