The US non-profit charity Heroes for Children has just posted a video on its official social network, with the content: "We are still immersed in this moment. Thank you BTS for giving our little girl Olivia the sweetest hug at the concert in the Dallas area. This is a precious memory that we will never forget".
In the released images, BTS member Jimin stepped off the stage, handed a keychain to little Olivia who was fighting cancer, gently stroked her head, then gave her a warm hug and kissed her cheek.
Olivia seemed unable to believe what had just happened and excitedly screamed: "I just got kissed!". After that, she was still immersed in the aftertaste of the special moment when looking back at the images of Jimin she had filmed. It is known that Olivia was originally a die-hard fan of BTS.
On August 15, BTS held a concert during the global tour "ARIRANG" at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA.
Jimin's meaningful action received many enthusiastic responses from global fans and became a topic of interest on social networks.
BTS fans around the world expressed pride in the male singer: "Like a prince stepping out of a fairy tale", "Positive influence", "How can you not love Jimin?", "Proud of being a fan of Jimin", "Just looking at Olivia's expression can feel how happy she is"...
Previously, this meeting was said to be taking place within the framework of the Make-A-Wish program, a program to help turn the wishes of children suffering from incurable and serious diseases into reality. Foreign media reported that Olivia and some other children were specially invited to watch BTS's performance.
Also at the concert, Jimin attracted attention during the concert when expressing Korean identity through a hairstyle that evoked Taegeuk motifs and costumes inspired by the Korean national flag.
