Lan Phuong shared that the appellate hearing in the divorce case between her and David Duffy was initially scheduled to take place at 8 am on March 19 at the Hanoi People's Court.
However, at about 5 pm the previous day, she suddenly received a notice postponing the trial at her request from her ex-husband David, and was also asked to be present to receive documents from the court.
The sudden change in schedule prevented her from arranging someone to take care of and take baby Mia to school because there was no full-time helper. Therefore, she decided to take her child along, similar to the previous time when she came to receive a postponement notice for the first-instance trial.

Sharing with Lao Dong reporters, Lan Phuong said that her ex-husband did not inform her and did not say anything about the postponement of the appellate trial. The actress only received information through the court.
Lan Phuong hopes the trial will take place and end quickly. She hopes her children will grow up peacefully. "But it's okay, with all my love and strength, I will always be by your side, and do everything I can to bring the brightest and most peaceful smiles to you, Mia and Lina," she added.
