On the 5th of January every year, the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory Anniversary Festival is held to commemorate the merits of the cloth-clothed hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, along with the generals, Tay Son insurgents and people who bravely fought against foreign invaders to protect the nation's independence.
This year, for the first time, the Festival was held on the evening of February 2 (January 5) at Dong Da Cultural Park instead of in the morning like every year, with the highlight being the art program "Dong Da - Golden History - Firm Future".
According to the Organizing Committee, the Art Program will have many unique performances made in the form of semi-realistic scenes combined with modern 3D mapping technology, telling historical stories in a modern way with chapters, scenes, and sequences, subtly transformed by special effects, attractive music and diverse forms of expression such as: singing, circus, dance, drum ensemble... The program is considered to be the largest-scale organization ever of the festival.
The art program "Dong Da - Golden History - Steady Future" has the participation of famous artists.
In addition, during the festival, there are many special activities such as: incense offering ceremony, sacrificial ceremony of local sacrificial groups, palanquin procession, lion dance performance, dragon dance performance, Binh Dinh Gia martial arts performance, chess competition, human chess, calligraphy writing, introduction of traditional arts...

Day 1: Sunday, February 2, 2025 (January 5, At Ty year)
- From 6:00 - 8:00: Incense offering and sacrifice ceremony of local sacrificial groups; Palanquin procession.
- From 8:00 - 11:30: Lion dance and dragon dance performances; sports performances; Binh Dinh Gia martial arts performances; chess and human chess competitions; calligraphy, introduction of traditional arts.
- From 18:30 to 21:40: Ceremony to celebrate the 236th anniversary of Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory.
Second day: Monday, February 3, 2025 (January 6, At Ty year)
- From 7:00 to 22:00: Perform rituals, offer incense and traditional religious activities; organize folk games. Write calligraphy, introduce traditional arts.
- From 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Mass art program "Celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring" (performed by Quang Trung ward).
- From 20:00 - 22:00: "Spring Colors" art program with the participation of units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Vietnam Cai Luong Theater, Vietnam Circus Federation, Vietnam Cheo Theater, Vietnam Dance Academy.
Third day: Tuesday, February 4, 2025 (January 7, At Ty year)
- From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Offering incense and traditional religious activities; organizing folk games; writing calligraphy, introducing traditional arts.
- From 8:00 - 11:00: Mass art program "Spring Song" (performed by Quang Trung Music and Dance Club).
- From 20:00 - 22:00: Art program "Spring Festival" (performed by Vietnam Puppetry Theater).
