Accordingly, in the program Meeting at the end of the year - Tao Quan 2018, in his report, when talking about the problem of traffic jams that has not been resolved, Tao Giao Thong said: "Your Majesty, traffic jams are an inevitable part of life. If one day the roads are clear and the sidewalks are clear, people will not be able to bear it."
2 years later, the COVID-19 pandemic has become unpredictable. To prevent the spread of the pandemic in the community, we have implemented social distancing, every household stays at home, and the streets are deserted. Later, in the Tao Quan 2022 program, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, who still plays Tao Giao Thong, recalled, “A few years ago, at a meeting like this, when people questioned him a lot, he was so mysterious that he blurted out, “Hey, one day when the roads are clear and the sidewalks are open, the people won’t be able to bear it.” I thought, I have the gift of prophecy. That day has come. When we implemented the lockdown order, the roads were clear and the sidewalks were open, many people who were not allowed to go out suddenly longed to hear the sound of motorbike horns, longed to join the crowded traffic jams like in the old days...”.
Currently, the most widely shared line of Traffic God Chi Trung is in Tao Quan 2011. Also at the year-end meeting, when questioned by the duo Nam Tao - Bac Dau about solutions to handle traffic jams, Traffic God presented that one of the reasons leading to traffic jams is the poor traffic awareness of many people in the lower world, constantly running red lights, encroaching on sidewalks, crossing lanes...
The Traffic God affirmed, "At this rate, I propose to increase traffic violation fines by 2-3 times, even 4-5 times, and people will no longer violate."
This dialogue was shared on many social media platforms in the context of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of traffic order and safety in the field of road traffic being implemented.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung said he was surprised but felt excited when his lines in Tao Quan 2011, Tao Quan 2018 were being shared, and the audience called him by the nickname "Tao Tien Prophet".
Talking about Tao Quan 2025 this year, Chi Trung said, “Our team has tried very hard, practiced for months, and carefully edited the script for each sentence. Hopefully, Tao Quan this year will satisfy the audience. A little revelation is that this year's Tao Giao Thong will have a "presentation" about punishment for violations of traffic order and safety."
Tao Quan 2025 with the participation of veteran artists such as Quoc Khanh, Chi Trung, Van Dung, Quang Thang and young artists Do Duy Nam, Thanh Huong, Thai Son... will air on New Year's Eve, January 28.
