Many people present knew that the predestined relationship between the 3 people started 32 years ago.
In 1994, on the set of "God of Gamblers 2", Chow Yun-fat gave a lucky money envelope worth HKD 5,000 to 10-year-old Ta Mieu, and advised: "Return to study properly, don't become an uneducated person in the future".
At that time, Ta Mieu had just completed "New Shaolin Wu To", playing the role of Jet Li's son. Director Vuong Tinh once affirmed: "This child can become Jet Li's successor".
After "New Shaolin Wu To" was released, Xie Miu suddenly became a star, the number of movie invitations could not be counted. Then, he acted in "God of Gamblers 2" with Chow Yun-fat and Tony Leung Ka-fai; in 1995, he cooperated with Jet Li in "Letter to Dad", playing the role of a father and son.
At that time, Ta Mieu was the most famous child star in Hong Kong (China), and Thich Tieu Long was called the "jumeaux" of the screen.
Vuong Tinh at that time actively advised Ta Mieu's parents: "Not everyone has the opportunity to become famous. Now is the time when the boy is most famous, you must take advantage of it.

However, Chow Yun-fat spent a lot of time chatting with Ta Mieu's mother. He took his own youth story as an example: because his family was poor, he was not fully educated, and sometimes when he held the script, he did not fully understand the content.
He advised that the child was still too young, so he should return to school first, because knowledge can change fate. Finally, he also donated 5,000 HKD to pay tuition fees for Ta Mieu.
Ta Mieu's family was already worried that acting would affect her child's studies. After listening to Chow Yun-fat's sharing, the two immediately decided to take their child back to Beijing to continue studying.
After the work "Tieu phi hiep" in 1995, Xie Miu completely focused on his studies. After graduating from high school, he studied martial arts at Beijing University of Sports.
In 2006, after graduating from university and wanting to return to the entertainment industry, Ta Mieu realized that everything had changed. The golden age of Hong Kong (China) cinema has passed, and martial arts films are no longer being heavily invested in.
He did not come from a professional acting training school, nor was he an idol star. Movies like "The Legend of Shaolin Temple", "Thích gia quân" did not create a buzz. At one point, he even had to livestream selling goods to earn a living.

In 2014, Ta Mieu decided to venture into the field of online movies.
Many people laugh at him for lowering his self-worth, but he clearly recognizes: traditional movies and television almost have no place for the action genre, while online movies still have room to develop.
Every year he acts in 4-5 films, performing boxing scenes himself, without using stuntmen. In 7 years, he participated in more than 40 online movies to hone his skills.
When making the movie "Cơn thịnh nộ" in 2026, initially investors wanted to replace Ta Mieu with an idol actor to increase box office attraction. However, he decided to mortgage his own house to contribute more capital to the project, and at the same time perform all the most difficult action scenes himself.
As a result, on its opening day, the film won the box office championship, reaching 8.4 points on Douban and 99% "fresh" points on Rotten Tomatoes.
At the premiere, Chow Yun-fat and Tony Leung were also present to support the film.
