Chau Nhuan Phat awards G-Dragon at MAMA after 10 years

On the evening of November 29, the 2025 MAMA Korean music awards ceremony continued to take place at Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong (China).

After the victory of the duo Rose (Blackpink) - Bruno Mars and ENHYPEN with 2 Daesang trophies (grand prize) awarded on the first night (November 28), MAMA continues to announce Stray Kids and G-Dragon (Big Bang) as the winners of the remaining 2 Daesang awards.

Boy group Stray Kids won the Daesang Album of the Year award (for the album Karma), G-Dragon was honored with the Daesang Artist of the Year.

In addition, G-Dragon won big at this year's MAMA with 3 other awards including Best Male Artist, Best Male Sol dance performance and Top 10 Most Favorite male artists.

On the second night, Rose won 3 more awards as Best Female Artist, Best Combine, and Best vocal Performance solo Artist.

One of the most memorable moments at the event was when Hong Kong (China) actor Zhou Nhuan Pha appeared as the awards person.

The 70-year-old actor asked everyone to stand up to observe a minute of silence for the victims of the serious apartment fire that just occurred. Chau Nhuan Phat suppressed his tears and sent his deepest condolences.

Right after the memorial service, Chau Nhuan Phat named G-Dragon as the winner of the Artist of the Year category. When on stage, Big Bang leader held Chau Nhuan Phat's hand, the two danced to the background music of the male singer's song "Too Bad", creating an unforgettable moment.
