On November 12, Korean media reported the sudden passing of Song Jae Rim - the actor of the movie "Moon Embracing the Sun". He was found dead that same afternoon.
Police found no signs of foul play. The cause of death was determined to be suicide, as authorities found a suicide note from the actor.

“Moon Embracing the Sun” co-star Jung Il Woo, who is also a close colleague of Kim Soo Hyun and Song Jae Rim, said that they became friends after filming.
